Job Description

QED Systems LLC (QED) provides government customers expertise in areas such as program engineering services, program management, systems integration and software development, IT architecture support, logistics management and modeling & simulation support. 
QED is hiring a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Engineer who will apply security assistance and FMS policies and procedures relative to case management, case closure, financial planning and tracking of commitments, obligations, and expenditures in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 5105.38-M.  Responsibilities include: Analyzing and gathering data related to major systems in response to international customer requests; Developing pricing for Line Items and prepare case notes; Monitoring and tracking deliveries; Preparing agenda minutes and monitoring actions related to customer meetings and reviews; Coordinating/managing assigned FMS case/programs, ensuring all terms and conditions of the LOA are satisfied. 
This position is based out of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.  It is a Monday-Friday 40hr/week assignment.  Neither telecommuting nor flex hours are anticipated for this position.
Travel is not anticipated but may be occasionally required to CONUS destinations for short periods of time.

Required Skills
  • A minimum of fifteen years acquisition experience with a minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and
  • Included in the ten years, there must be three years professional experience in FMS technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development
  • Experience in utilizing special techniques for data reduction and use of management information systems and Program Master Plans is desired
  • Experience as a member of and/or support the specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and IPT directed business meetings
  • Demonstrated experience in the Track program/project status and schedules
  • Utilizes written and oral communication skills commensurate with technical role
  • Must be able to maintain an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Army and Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) procedures is desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
