|Title:||Foreign Military Sales Operations SME|
This position is a key position providing support for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) effort for aerostat systems. Ideal candidates will have broad experience supporting an aerostat program from the operations perspective. Experience supporting a fielded system program from a Product Director or Program Manager Office is desired as well, to include involvement in fielding, developing/supporting system training programs, conduct of site surveys, system testing, and review/development of technical manuals. Specific experience with aerostats operations for systems larger than 20 meters is preferred. This position will require operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) input to the FMS effort to include operational input to acquisition efforts (PWS development), operations review of system and program requirements, and evaluation of proposed operations documentation, target standards, and requirements.
Five (5) years of experience supporting military operations.
Three (3) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length.
Expertise with flight requirements for aerostats, including knowledge of flight certifications and flight parameters.
Solid documentation and writing skills
Advise on the effect of intelligence surveillance reconnaissance (ISR) systems on aerostats.
Advise on operational procedures and reporting tools.
Analyze operational data to identify and assist in resolving operations-related and mission-critical issues affecting Warfighter support, and assist leadership with refinement of aerostat operational procedures.
CONUS/OCONUS (estimated to be 25% of the time).
10 years of experience supporting military operations.
Five (5) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
